How To Get Rid Of Underarm Razor Bumps

How To Get Rid Of Underarm Razor BumpsUnderarm razor bumps can be a pain, literally! When we attend trade shows, we normally get asked a lot of questions from women about razor bumps under the arms.  Here is a brief article outlining some of the advice we give to our customers suffering from underarm razor bumps.

First, we advise prior to any shaving to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.  This helps to prevent the occurrence of razor bumps.  Although, if you already have bumps under the arms, do not attempt to exfoliate as this will aggravate the skin even more.  By exfoliating the skin, you help remove the hardened cells that form within the pores of the skin.  These clogged pores cause hair to grow under the skin.

Secondly, you want to be sure to use a single blade razor. An even better alternative is an electric razor.  If you don’t have the use of an electric razor, just be sure that you are not using a multiple blade razor because these razors promote ingrown hairs and makes these hairs have sharper tips.  Be sure not to shave too close to the skin as well.

The final step in all of this prevention of underarm razor bumps is to be sure to follow this regimen with a proven product that contains an antiseptic and moisturizer.  This is perhaps the most important step, as it will aid in the recover of the skin after shaving, which will help to prevent the razor bumps altogether.

If you are tired of dealing with razor bumps, a great product to use is Faceworks.  Used everyday, Faceworks eliminates razor bumps completely.

I used Faceworks as an after-shave on my underarms after seeing my husband use it on his face.
Faceworks did such a good job of removing his facial razor bumps, that I decided to use it after shaving my under-arms. The product worked great! Usually after I shave my under-arms I can not directly apply deodorant, without causing painful irritation; with the faceworks I was able to put deodorant on right away, what a time saver, no pain.

I have used face works to get rid of razor bumps that were under my arms, as a result of shaving with a razor.
And now after every underarm shave I apply face works after the shave. I no longer have an underarm razor bump problem. The product really works.
